Screen refreshing is one of the key parameters that define gaming matrices. Acer decided to break – along with the new installment of its gaming laptops – another barrier. It is 300 Hz, because the equipment with this screen parameter will soon go to stores.

Acer Predator Triton 500 is a laptop that has been on the market for several nice months. It is a very efficient machine with a 15-inch FullHD screen, a Core i7-8750H six-core processor and a GeForce RTX 2060 or 2080 Max-Q graphics card. In a word – it's hard to get such equipment even with the most graphically effective titles, but it's easy to get a wallet because of the laptop in the cheapest configuration we must spend at least PLN 8,000.

Now, however, this equipment is gaining an amazing argument for buying it, especially in the context of hardcore players spending long hours playing online in titles such as CS: GO or Overwatch. Talking about display that will be able to boast a refresh rate of up to 300 Hz, with a simultaneous response time of 3 ms (GtG). These are undoubtedly sensational parameters especially for professional players who will meet their interest, despite the high price of this equipment.

In addition, a significant change is the presence of a ninth generation processor, specifically the six-core model Core i7-9750H, which is the direct successor to the previous generation. Thus, the Triton 500, together with the 300 Hz display, is really becoming a specific machine at a specific price – the laptop will debut in the fourth quarter of this year at a price starting from 2599 euros, or about 11 thousand zlotys.

We already know why Apple didn't brag about the amount of RAM on new iPhones. It's not a coincidence

A new family representative will also be available for sale Predator Triton, this time with the designation 300. In terms of appearance, we will be able to count on practically the same equipment as in the context of the 500 model – the changes will mainly concern the technical specifications. We are dealing with equipment equipped with a 15.6-inch screen displaying FullHD resolution at 144 Hz refresh rate and 3 ms response time.

The drive unit of this model is also the Core i7-9750H processor, although the graphics card is the basic model in the Nvidia portfolio – we're talking about the GeForce GTX 1650 here. To this we can add a maximum of 16 GB of DDR4 RAM, as well as a 1 TB SSD with optional HDD media. I also enjoy the presence of the network card and the Wi-Fi Killer 6 module.

The differences are therefore fundamental (especially in the context of the graphic layout and display capabilities), but we are dealing with definitely cheaper equipment. Acer Predator Triton 300 will reach us this year at a price starting from 1099 euros, or about 4800 zlotys. And that's quite a reasonable price for this interestingly equipped model.
